about

Sometimes you write a song and after it's finished you realize there's way more that you're trying to say than fits into 3 verses.
I created this video with a narrative to explores my meanings ;-) If you enjoy please let me know ;-) All video was taken by my 10 and 7 year old kids!
Sea Of Noise

Time/Date 20:20 on 20/02/2020
Location: Planet Earth (5th Parallel universe)

Once upon a boy
There was a man
Climbing Endlessly
Wandering Timelessly
Unintentionally Aimlessly 'Please forgive me', he said
'I’ve been so distant'
'Can you hear me?'
'I ‘m in the sea of noise' 'I still nee you' he exclaimed
'Do you still need me?'
'Can you hear me?'
'I'm in the sea of noise'

After holding back feelings of loneliness, helplessness and regret
These feelings built up and he realized they could be expressed.
He started singing out loud
With Peace, Love and Joy.
All he was asking.... was to be heard!

He started to explore what was missing
True connections, true reflections
Old friends, faces and memories of the past
Everything he had attached to his vision of happiness,
had seemingly evaporated and was gone..... So he started searching
Broadcasting signals to the universe
Was anyone listening?
Would anyone answer his call?

He wondered that if he tuned into nature.....
maybe the universe would give him a message, as if in a dream.

Then, at the most fragile and delicate of moments...
The moment between waiting and hoping....
.... amongst the mist of everything he thought he had lost
There was a response....
A response from the only person he had been broadcasting to... His Own Sweet Self

Lost in the spiraling web that is our life
So much passes us by, yet so much still remains
Letting go allows us to rediscover what is dear to us
All that is forgotten is now so much nearer
All we rememeber is vivid and clear

Remembering the touch, as we guided each other, hand in hand
The scent, savored as if it was our very first breathe
The vision, imprinted deeply within our soul
The voice, whispering lightly within our mind
The taste, devouring the sweetness of every precious moment

Being lost in the sea of noise, as if in a dream.. Is the most wondorous place to be #createart

lyrics

Sea of Noise

Please Forgive me
I’ve been so distant
Can you hear me?
Im in the sea of noise

I still need you
Do you still need me?
Can you hear me?
Im in the sea of noise

I’ve been praying for you
I’ve been crying out for you
Can you hear me?
I’m in the sea of noise

I’m so scared for you
Show me you’re there for me
Can you hear me?
Im in the sea of noise

I’ve been holding it back deep inside
Building it up so it can shine
I sing it out loud with
Peace love and joy
Can you hear me?
Im in the sea of noise.
