Junip 03:15
Junip It’s a strange new world we live in Everyone is looking out for themselves When we fall back to the beginning We'll be figuring out Why do all good things end? Why do all good things end? Why do all good things end? Why do all good things end? Are we fighting in a war we’re winning Or fighting for a peace we've lost We’re challenged every day, hour and minute. We don't know what the fuss is for. Why do all good things end? Why do all good things end? Why do all good things end? Why do all good things end?

I know I’m one in a million, I know I'm one in a million, Don’t take that away from me lady luck We’re all entitled to opinions, We’re all entitled to opinions, Don’t take that away from me lady luck. I guess I could get excited, A little too excited Don’t take that away from me lady luck It's like I finally decided, 100 % decided , Don’t take that away from me lady luck We're all staring down the barrel of tough luck We're all standing on the shoulders of tough luck Tough, tough luck I’m gonna sit on the fence now I’m gonna sit on the fence now Don’t take that away from me lady luck I'm good at play averages, I'm gonna play you at averages you can’t take that away from me We're all staring down the barrel of tough luck We're all standing on the shoulders of tough luck Tough, tough luck You can be Lucky within Lucky without Lucky runs free Lucky runs out You can be Lucky in love Lucky all alone Lucky right now Lucky at a stones throw Tough Tough Tough Tough Tough Tough Luck

Start a new tradition Experience bliss Learn the art of forgiveness Learn to do a back flip Give away some hard earned money Find you`ve been given a raise Ask someone out for dinner And then be fashionably late If the time ain't right for you then it's time to rethink. Keep your head under the water Swim like a polar bear Dance like a helicopter Get out of the right side of bed Have you found you`re overthinking Everything you try to do, Mulling all things over Till they take a hold of you If the time ain't right for you then it's time to rethink. You like to view from all angles Explore all possibilities By time you`re done thinking You`re too tired and fall to sleep. You could peek around the corner And gaze at all you stand to loose Discover the bigger picture That they've hidden from you If the time ain't right for you then it's time to rethink.

about

In 2005 I wrote and recorded a CD every month for a year. A physical CD was sent to whoever wanted it. 10 years later I have finished recording a 12 track LP with folk collective Few Who Do. I'm planning on doing a monthly release of each track from the LP in addition to challenging myself to write at least 2 new acoustic tracks written each month.

Here are 2 new tracks I wrote in August and track 8 from the LP - Junip

1. Junip - Why do all good things end? So good things can start again? Maybe they're not good at all.

2. Tough, Tough, Luck - Luck isn't a force, it just happens... there are certain things it can touch, certain things it can't.

3. Time To Rethink -Stuck in a rut? The time doesn`t seem right? It's time to rethink
