1.
I look through my collection of tears, reflecting 27 years Some of them were shining, some were way too frightening to disturb Revealing in the way they moved Revealing in the space they consumed Revealing in the secrets they held Revealing how I view myself The race is on between the dreamers and believers The race is on between dreaming and believing The race is on between the dreamers and believers The race is on between dreaming and believing The dreamers almost gone With a flicker of my eye I attempt to stop myself from crying I gather all my shiny tears and take them to the shed at the bottom of my garden Now the tears are running dry And all the plans I nurtured are dying There's a lack of fruition in there. The vines are looking bare and scared The race is on between the dreamers and believers The race is on between dreaming and believing A dream is just a dream until we believe it A dream is just a dream until we believe it The dreamers almost gone

Samba Bamba 04:05
You can run run run run forever You can hide hide hide hide from no one You can dance dance dance dance dance in the fire Just keep exploring until the end. You can fight fight fight fight until you’re broken You can try try try try to start again You can rise rise rise rise rise to the challenge Just keep exploring until the end. You’re not all, you’re not all alone. You’re not all, you’re not all alone. You can lie lie lie lie until you’re found out You can beat beat beat beat on the same old drum You can love love love love love to the next life Just keep exploring until the end. You’re not all, you’re not all alone. You’re not all, you’re not all alone. You’re not all, you’re not all alone. You’re not all, you’re not all alone.
3.
How can we concentrate when thing keeps going wrong How can we concentrate when there’s so much going on Are you looking at the instructions from beginning to end? Are you looking at the paper when you’re holding a pen? Are you looking at your teammate before you pass to them? If you’re looking at me singing, go on, sing the chorus then Are you listening to all the words that the teacher says? Are you listening to you momma when it’s time for bed? Are you listening to your friends if they say you’re bugging them? If your listening to this song sing along to the end. Look, listen and think about it Look, listen and think about it

about

In 2005 I wrote and recorded a CD every month for a year. A physical CD was sent to whoever wanted it. 10 years later I have finished recording a 12 track LP with folk collective Few Who Do. I'm planning on doing a monthly release of each track from the LP in addition to challenging myself to write 2 new acoustic tracks written each month.

Here are the 2 tracks I wrote in June and track 6 from the LP - Dreamers & Believers

1. Dreamers & Believers -This song was written as part of the original 2005 Calendar sessions. It's a tale of entering your late 20's and the struggle between dreaming and believing. A dream is not a dream until you believe it so hang onto it and it will bear fruit.

2. It's a Zoo- I've started compiling songs for a kids album. Kids albums always have songs about animals right? This will eventually also have kids making animal noises on it. Go to www.facebook.com/dadandkidmusic for more info on that!

3. Dreamstate - Once a dreamer always a dreamer. You can be put down, you can believe that luck is never on your side. At the end of the day it's better to float around in a dreamstate than to be beat down about life
