Take a glance to the left, find souls divided Looking to the right , souls delighted Peeking inside my souls arising, souls arising Stare from afar, soul surveying See eye to eye we're soul relating Behold the view it's soul breath taking, soul breath taking When you're all out of words, When you're all out of words Lay down your weary head on my heart. One Glimpse of you and my soul was taken I gaze to the sky, my souls been shaken Grinning inside my soul's awakened, souls awakened When you're all out of words, When you're all out of words, Lay down your weary head on my heart. All out of words, All out of words All out of words All out of words

A whole new light has dawned on me tonight A whole new light The biggest lie just broke on me tonight The biggest lie Don’t say a word, close your eyes Count on one hand all those you despise Count on 2 hands everyone one you believe in Stick them in your pocket until you (really) need’em Now Learn to fly, just show you tried tonight Learn to fly Don’t say a word, close your eyes Count on one hand all those you despise Count on 2 hands everyone one you believe in Stick them in your pocket until you really need’em Can I call on you tonight, Like the day calls the night? Can I call on you tonight? A whole new light A whole new light

Picking up the pieces of a lifestyle from the floor, You don’t know who to trust in Or what to believe anymore This shouldn’t be a puzzle to make, it should be a puzzle to enjoy The Cavalcade of emotions is now only starting to deploy So Fall down backwards, just like you used to do Fall down backwards, just like you used to do There’s a little piece of me here, Ready to catch a little piece of you Fall down backwards just like you used to do Dragging you backwards, pulling you under, chipping away You took a shot but your shooting high before you’re taking aim. Like you're taken for granted and drowning in the everyday You’re not looking for attention you’re just gasping for another way. So Fall down backwards, just like you used to do Fall down backwards, just like you used to do There’s a little piece of me here, Ready to catch a little piece of you Fall down backwards just like you used to do Let it run away with you Let life run away with you Know not where you are going to.

about

In 2005 I wrote and recorded a CD every month for a year. A physical CD was sent to whoever wanted it. 10 years later I have finished recording a 12 track LP with folk collective Few Who Do. I'm planning on doing a monthly release of each track from the LP in addition to challenging myself to write at least 2 new acoustic tracks written each month.

Here are 2 new tracks I wrote in September and track 9 from the LP - Souls Divided

1. The song is from the view point of a new born baby silently observing the word from the safety of their parents arms. A Yann Tiersen inspired arrangement.

2. Seeing things in a whole new light is very inspirational... other people can help you see that light, right!

3. Get away from the puzzle of life by letting go and falling down backwards.
